A real-time Android computer vision application for exercise
monitoring and repetition detection, developed as the capstone
project and thesis for the MEng in Computer Vision and AI.
Implementation
Kotlin, Python-based computer vision development and
MediaPipe BlazePose with landmark geometry and heuristic
state machines for exercise recognition.
Result
Achieved 95%+ accuracy in exercise repetition detection
while operating at approximately 30 FPS.
